I am pleased to announce the schedule for this years indoor flying.
Friday November 8th
Friday December 13th
Friday January 10th
Friday January 24th
Friday February 21th
Friday March 20th
Friday April 10th
Same schedule as last year, 7:00-10:00.
The fee is still 10.00 per person per session, AMA required for pilots. Students and spectators no charge.
Pretty much the same format as last year, with training available the first hour, open flying, and if there is enough interest we will do some breaks for rubber free flight.
One of the things that makes this happen at the low cost that we are able to charge is that we present a class to the participants at the Milford Youth Center After School program from 5-6PM. We use club Vapors and give the kids a chance to fly and learn a little bit about airplanes. If anyone would like to volunteer to help please let me know. You will need to have a CORI done and present ID to the MYC management.
The Milford Youth Center is located at 24 Pearl Street, Milford MA 01757 across the street from the Milford Town Hall. Parking behind the building as well as across the street.
